Excellent Fish Release Tool

With the low water patterns we have experienced since the winter of 2015, and even closures due to low, warm water during the season of 2015, proper fish handling practices are becoming even more important to protect the resource we enjoy. During stressful conditions for our fish we need to decide which is more important...a photograph or a healthy fish.

We highly recommend that you get yourself one of the Waterworks Lamson Ketchum Release Tools. It's super easy to use, once you have the fish close while in the water just slide the slotted tool onto the tippet, slide the tool down to the fly, and unhook the fish. Holding the fish gently in the water until it is completely revived will give it the very best chance for survival.
Like other products we sell, we actually use this. My wife and daughter have used this tool for years to make it easier for them to release the fish and not have to handle out of the water.
