Redesigned for 2015, the Orvis Safe Passage Rod and Reel Carrier. 
The smaller size (for 9' 4 piece rods)is suitable to carry your rods and reels on the airplane.
On the outside, the finishing and new color scheme make the carrier look great.
However it's the inside features that really stand out.

Past versions of the rod/reel case have put both the rods (in socks) and reels all on the lower side of the case. the 2015 version moves the rods up into the armored and padded lid compartment, leaving the complete lower section for reels, etc. This greatly increases the total storage capacity of the case.
You can easily put 5 rods in the upper compartment.

The case comes with divider and cross dividers for the lower section, making your organization easier.
Orvis also offers kits with extra dividers for even more organization.
The case comes with a removable shoulder strap as well as a padded carry handle.
As with all Orvis products, The Safe Passage Rod/reel case is covered by a lifetime warranty.
