Canada Day Fishing

Headed out for some fishing on the river yesterday.....

Surprised at how many boats were out between Police and Mac. Lots of drift boats, few jet boats.

Levels were pretty stable at just over 240 cms with about 20" of visibility. Lots of PMD's coming off.
Unfortunately, they were almost completely unmolested.

Streamer fishing showed some signs of getting better, with fish being more aggressive.

If you really want to rack up a body count, a Stonefly nymph rig will do that for you right now.

The Bow dropped to just over 200 cms last night. This will likely mean things will continue to get better, with maybe even a few rising fish due to lower water volume.

REMEMBER! UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, LEGACY ISLAND AND CARSELAND ACCESSES ARE UNAVAILABLE. LEGACY IS BLOCKED WITH DEBRIS AND THE ROAD DOWN TO CARSELAND SLID THIS SPRING.
