As usual, he gets away and does a little fishing. Here's a few photos of "Indo Permit" "Pacific Permit" or whatever you want to call them.
First fishing day's report went as follows:
"I am actually in Oz as we speak; first day of fishing today. Managed to land the 3 fish shown below. Crab pattern with the "Avalon" style beads. Will have to touch base with you before Mexico trip to check on your latest innovations!

Identification
The Snubnose Dart is a compressed fish with a steep, blunt snout and very long leading fin rays in the dorsal and anal fins. It is silver coloured, often paler below. The anal fin is dusky orange, the lobe often with a brownish anterior margin.
Size range
The species grows to about 65 cm in length.
Distribution
In Australia it is known from south-western Western Australia, around the tropical north of the country and south on the east coast to southern New South Wales.
