Bow
River Report – March 10, 2016
The river has
been fishing pretty darn good, especially for this time of year. Deep nymph
rigs will give you the most consistent success, but streamer fishing has been
pretty good as well.
Patterns/rigs for
deep nymphing consist of a worm pattern or stonefly nymph, combined with either
a midge pupa or caddis pupa pattern trailer.
Dark, heavy
streamers will give you the best returns.
A few rising
fish on midges have been showing up, best bet for that is right at the end of
the day.
The fish seem to
have lost none of their amazing weight from last summer/fall and are in great
shape.
