Bow
River Report –July 6, 2017
If you don’t keep up with Instagram you
might want to know that the Stonefly emergence has started. The days of parking
lot sanity and solitude are over for a little bit.
The big foam bugs will work early and late
in the day (low light periods). During the brighter hours of the day try a
hopper/dropper rig. Foam bug on top with a stonefly nymph about two feet under
it.
With a little color in the water the
streamer fishing has been pretty darn good as well.
It is that time of year that we all wait
for. Things are happening!
Hatches:
Caddis, Stoneflies, PMD’s
Dry Flies: Berrett’s Brown Leg Golden Stone, Chubby Chernobyl,
