Bow
River Report – October 16, 2015
Nymph fishing
continues to be really good. San Juan Worm patterns keep producing lots of
fish. Best to fish them in the deep runs.
Streamer fishing
remains pretty darn good as well. Light colors still working the best.
Hopper/Dropper
fishing has gotten better. October Caddis patterns on top, with a Boatman,
Prince, or Caddis Larva type pattern underneath. Focus on the inside of seams
and especially gravel bar structures.
Should be a good
BWO Sunday and Monday with some weather coming!

High Country River Report – October 16, 2015
For the most part, fishing in the high
country has been quite good. Like every year at this time, if the weather is
even slightly poor or unstable, the fishing will be tough. But when the weather
is nice, the fishing is good.
Only a couple of weeks left before the east
slope streams close, so if you get the chance you should go fishing
Hatches:
Ants, BWO’s
Dries: Two-Tone
Para Ant, Fire Beetle, Parachute Adams, Film Critic-BWO,
Spun Hair Dun-BWO
