Pretty simple report this week. The Bow from Cochrane downstream is mud, and technically you're not allowed to fish the Bow in the city as you're asking for a $2500 fine. Downstream of the city you're ok, however the fishing is still tough. Fish a big black streamer close to the bank, or nymph a big worm and big minnow pattern for best results..
Water up by Canmore was looking good on Tuesday, so we should have some clear water for a few days in the next little bit, but we have a TON of snow left to come down. Hopefully its done soon!
Pike fishing has been slow so far, Kevin was out on Monday and the lake he was in never got above 50ºF, so we're still a little bit away from the great stuff.
The Crow is still mud, so the Salmonflies are going unmolested at the moment, but once it clears up we should be rolling!
The mountain streams are closed for another 2 weeks, yet will probably still be one mucky mess till the end of June.
Stay safe!
