Bow
River Report – July 16, 2015
Finally! A rain
day. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be somewhat icky, but things turn for
Saturday. This is just what the doctor ordered for the river.
Fishing the last
3 days has been better, with the streamer fishing being very good. A lot more
dry fly eats on the big bugs and even late day rising fish last night and the
night before. The Tricos are as heavy as we have ever seen and the Caddis are
still around in good numbers.
The rain
tomorrow may give us a little push of color, but it should push through and
offer fishable conditions through the weekend. Hopefully this gives us a
reasonable drop in water temps to get us through another week.
We recommend
that anglers play fish as quickly as possible, not taking the fish out of the
water. Until the water cools down, please skip that fish photo and get them
back on their way.
