Bow
River Report – July 9, 2015
Updated
conditions on the Bow…as of yesterday afternoon we are back up to an average of
69 Fahrenheit water temperature. These were recorded in mid-river flows. Along
the banks and in slower water the temperatures are higher.
Continued hot
weather through until Sunday won’t help things very much.
We recommend
that anglers play fish as quickly as possible, not taking the fish out of the
water. Until things cool down a little you might also want to skip that fish
photo and get them back on their way.
Moving on from
the negative, fishing has been a little better the last couple of days. Not a
lot of rising fish, except very late in the evening. Streamer fishing has been
the high point a lot of the time, with light colored and flashy streamers
working best.
Hatches: Golden Stoneflies, Caddis, PMD’s,
